Georges River Library (Amalgamated Councils' Kogarah & Hurstville Libraries)
My local
library is Georges River Library and it uses three social media outlets. Below will
outline the three social media outlets and what purpose they are used for.
Facebook
G.R. Library uses Facebook as a way to update people on what's going on like
community and/or library events. For example author readings, signings or
fundraisers.

Twitter
Twitter is
used to write a brief statement about what's going on in the G.R. library that will
include a photo most of the time. The Library twitter page isn't updated as
regularly as the Facebook page.

Pinterest
The Library
uses Pinterest as a way to upload photos and to keep them for archives. Users
may use a Pin (a word that relates to the Library) to share with library.
